Moses Filter

Parting debris from the sea.

Nearly 100% of waste that comes into our storm drains ends in our oceans.

The Moses Filter device collects, analyzes, and profoundly reduces storm drain debris, solving complex municipal waste challenges at scale.

Unintended urban runoff in city catch basins

Once urban runoff debris and litter fill the bottom of the catch basin, excessive rainfall carries it through the sewers, contaminating our water supply and ending up in our oceans. Heavy grates make it challenging and costly to clean catch basins efficiently.

Moses Filter

Moses Filter is a recyclable, reusable, and replaceable ABS Black, Stainless steel, and M.F-SMart+ filter that offers a practical solution to reduce unintended urban runoff and advance environmental adaptability. Almost 100% of the unintended urban runoff in city catch basins – including harmful discarded and dumped items – is carried through pipes into marine ecosystems. Moses Filter can be custom-made to fit municipal catch basins and operates to capture waste after it enters the catch basin and before it enters the aquatic ecosystem.

What we’re doing about it?

We provide end-to-end services to custom-made appropriate filters, clean out the filters, sort the unintended waste, and dispose of it safely. We also supply downstream data analysis for municipality properties to apply to their upstream priorities. Moses Filter can be serviced through tailored employment initiatives for Individuals With All Abilities, and it creates a viable, affordable option for socially and financially responsible storm drain maintenance that advances social and environmental goals.
